During 2015/16 EPiC Cycle Coaching have worked closely with the Junior RP Racing Team, run by 2016 team managers, Donal Linehan and Richard Reddy, to provide their team coaching package.

Throughout the course of the year, we’ve witnessed the progression of seven dedicated athletes. All of whom came to us with plenty of potential, but were making some basic mistakes in their training. This was making it harder to put a race together tactically too. It was evident when they started with us at the end of 2015 that their was a lot of hard work to put in from both the RP racing riders and our team of coaches at EPiC.

At EPiC we have the balance right, and believe that it is our work ethic and process that gets us the end results with all our athletes. We have a team of  seven coaches, who are all current or ex international riders, working together on each rider to nurture every aspect that needs developing.

If ever there was a case to prove that personal coaching works, this is it. Five riders that had NEVER previously won a race, all made the transition to the top step of the podium this season:

Giles Clark

1st Castle Combe Summer Series Round 9

Alex Cross

1st BC West Thames 13

Connie Hudson

1st The Gannets Getting The First Round In – Stourport League

1st The Gannets Legless Already – Stourport League (2/3/4 Women)

1st Wallingford Festival of Cycling 2016: Town Centre Criterium Races (The Empress Matilda Cup)

Giles Clark

1st Corley Cycles / Abbeygate Developments Summer Series #4

Tasha Reddy

1st Junior Women Wessex Cyclocross League 2015/16 Season

With a further seven podium placings, and some promising performances on the Continent, this group of talented young riders continue well under the guidance of EPiC Coaching. A massive well done to RP racing and all its support staff!
